At SNÖ studio we believe in creating a goodwill chain between the creators and the consumers; that means working closely and ethically with our family of dyers, weavers and tailors thereby ensuring a fair living wage to everyone in our design family.

We strive to create timeless clothes that will travel with you throughout the world in all your different journeys and always add happiness to your experience. Clothes that will transform from one occasion to another effortlessly... Clothes that will feel like second skin; clothes that flatter & accentuate form...
We believe in slow fashion and side with style over trends ... We make our clothes to last! hoping that they be passed down through generations... We love things hand made and if there is a way we can get things hand done that's the path we're always going to take...
Every single piece we make is conceived in our Pondicherry studio where we sketch, drape, tuck & bring a collection to life.
We stand for FAIR TRADE and provide our team with a fair, safe and pleasant design house to be a part of.

SOURCING...
All the materials used are carefully chosen based on their sustainability, maintenance, feel and environmental impact. A lot of individual time, care & just plain love is spent in creating our products.
SOCIAL OUTREACH...
We are currently engaged with 23 hand-loom dyers, spinners and weavers in Tamil Nadu to help sustain and innovate their craft. We intend to slowly but surely adopt the entire community 73 strong.
This luxurious textile is hand spun, hand woven and hand stitched ingenuously with 100% cotton and completely by women!. it will be the sole fabric for our Hand-loom edit collection launching soon.
A large majority of our prototypes and samples are donated to the local Orphanages in Pondicherry.
INTELLIGENT CUT...
Unlike mass fashion we at SNÖ studio choose the patient art of hand-cutting each & every garment individually over computerized templates. This allows us to focus on the beauty & personality of the fabric.
SINGULAR CONSTRUCTION...
Assembly line construction forgets the rich complexity of textile and tailoring. Each SNÖ artisan constructs a garment from start to finish. Allowing the artisans to take extra time and care to focus on tailoring nuances.
